Pets, Especially Cats

Pets, Especially Cats

What’s the purpose of them? With me I was told they make great companions.

I was talked into for buying a cat.

Mine is 7 years old and I’ve had him since he was 9 weeks old.

My career stopped when he came into my life.

I was an artist and made crafts to sell. Those days have vanished and my interests have left. Because of my cat.

They say cats need 20 minutes of attention per day. And a person should play hard and long until the cats stop playing.

My cat made those people that said that a liar.

As long as he’s awake, he needs all my attention. Every bit of time I have.

No working on paintings. No crafting. No writing. No reading or demonstrating a product. No teaching. No working on the computer.

He has to be in the center or he will bite or scratch me.

If I paint. He jumps on the canvas or rubs the paint off and his paws are leaving prints on the furniture or floor.

If I’m beading moccasins or staffs, he jumps in the middle and scatters the beads everywhere and knocks them around. Even eating them.

If reading for YouTube, he jumps on the book and bites my hand or lays on the book.

When typing a story for my book, he howls or lays on my keyboard or notebook.

My creative days are over. He is number one and lets me know it.

I have locked him in a room. But he yowls so loud that my neighbors report me.

There is no way to take control.

In between time he can be sweet and cuddly. And at times I’m sick, he lays next to me.

Pets. What are they worth? Especially cats.

My relative told me my cat will be the death of me because of his vicious bites and scratches. They get infected and take a long time to heal. Is he worth keeping?

I guess he is. He’s company when I’m alone.

Like having a child. You don’t like the way they treat you, but you keep them anyway. Most of the time that is.

For 7 years I have given up my life so he can live.

I wished I lived in a deep wooded property so I can let him out to enjoy nature the way animals should. Instead of being inside a tiny apartment with an old lady.

I love to read children's books to children and the young at heart. Then I love nature and animals and take pictures of them. Also I love traveling and learning the history of each state/city. The other things I like to do is teach survival and crafts. I love to help people know they can do almost anything they want.
