Rant and Rave and Misbehave

Rant and rave and misbehave.

All because we’re treated as children.

Just because we are older and wiser.

And aren’t keeping up with the Kardashians, doesn’t mean we should have our hands slapped if we wanted to help someone that dropped their mail or package and hand it back to them and not stay 6 feet away and not touch the germy virus covered mail or packages.

We know right from wrong. We know we could get sick. We choose to help one another no matter what the situations are.

Hey, we’re older than the youngsters and know our lives are short now.

We prefer helping one another ’til we die.

It’s the honorable thing to do.

Why keep prodding us like cattle that won’t budge.

We are human beings like the youngsters.

Leave us alone and let us live our lives to the fullest even if we break the rules.

Why make us stick to the letter. Let us relax. We worked hard when we were young and helping our children and our parents.

Now we just want to not worry about being kicked out and finding no place to live just because we forgot to put a mask on or stood too close to someone.

The mask and staying away from our friends is just not a habit we’ve acquired yet.

Give us a break, please.

Stop hounding us and taking away our little bit of life we have.

The ranting. The raving. The misbehaving will stop if you stop and we can all live in peace.

I love to read children's books to children and the young at heart. Then I love nature and animals and take pictures of them. Also I love traveling and learning the history of each state/city. The other things I like to do is teach survival and crafts. I love to help people know they can do almost anything they want.
